However, because it has been substantially modified from its original factory configuration, it no longer conforms to original OEM design specifications. Prospective purchasers should understand that aftermarket suspension, wheel, tire, steering, and accessory modifications may alter vehicle handling characteristics, ride quality, steering response, braking performance, stability, visibility, rollover characteristics, fuel economy, tire wear, and other operating characteristics when compared to an unmodified factory vehicle. Such modifications may also affect manufacturer performance specifications and the operation or performance of certain factory systems. Because many modifications were performed prior to our ownership, Apex Cars cannot verify every component, installation method, adjustment, or internal modification that may have been made over the life of the vehicle. Our inspection process is intended to identify the condition and operation of the vehicle at the time of sale, but it is not a certification of every aftermarket component or modification installed by previous owner(s). As with every retail vehicle we offer, this Jeep is undergoing our normal inspection, service, and reconditioning process before being offered for sale. We inspect and test the vehicle in accordance with our standard retail procedures and address items requiring service within the scope of that inspection. The vehicle has been substantially modified from factory specifications. Numerous aftermarket components have been installed by previous owner(s). Modified vehicles may perform differently than stock vehicles. Certain modifications or installation methods may not be readily visible during a standard dealership inspection. The purchaser has had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle, review available inspection documentation, ask questions regarding the modifications, and obtain an independent inspection if desired.
